Schedule pipe is pressure pipe specified by nominal size and a schedule number that sets the wall. Higher schedule means thicker wall and higher pressure rating. We supply seamless and welded to ASTM A312, sized to ASME B36.19.

Schedule 10, 40 or 80?

Sch 10S

light wall for water and low pressure; lighter and cheaper.

Sch 40S

the standard for most process and steam lines.

Sch 80S

heavy wall for high pressure and threaded joints.

Is NPS the outside diameter?+

No. Up to 12" the NPS is a trade size; the real OD is in the table (2" = 60.3 mm OD).

40 vs 40S?+

S denotes the stainless schedule in ASME B36.19; wall matches schedule 40 up to 10" and differs at 12".

Do you supply a mill certificate?+

Yes — every lot ships with its MTC (chemistry, mechanical properties, heat number); grade verification with a metal analyser on request.
