What is the price of a 304 stainless sheet today?+
Stainless is priced per kilo: weight × the price per kg for the grade and finish. The price moves with nickel and the exchange rate, so we send today's price in writing on request instead of a fixed number that may be out of date.
How do I work out the weight of a stainless sheet?+
Weight in kg = length (m) × width (m) × thickness (mm) × about 8.0 for 304. A 1 × 2 m sheet at 1 mm weighs about 16 kg. Use the weight calculator for any size.
What is the difference between 304, 316 and 201 sheet?+
304 is the general choice for food, kitchens and equipment. 316 adds molybdenum for chlorides, chemicals and marine use, at a higher price. 201 is cheaper and suits decoration and dry use only.
Which finishes and thicknesses are available?+
